An NFT Encyclopedia of Cryptids and Other Mythical Creatures
A powerful man who used fear and manipulation to get what he wanted had a Griffin Cryptid Partner. The cold hearted stare of that creature directly embodied that of his master.
I typically don’t use the term ‘master’ in regards to Cryptids, even though most might see the dynamic with Cryptids that way; I always use the term Cryptid Partner.
Cryptids aren’t beasts to be used to fight with one another or bring the terror of their human’s will. Cryptids are meant to be cherished and lived with harmoniously, each fulfilling whatever role the world created them to fill.
I don’t imagine all Griffins are like the ones that man tamed, but I always felt uneasy, as if it were about to jump and attack me when I was near.
A Griffin is able to match the strength of the Manticore with its speed.
Their heads resemble a bald eagle, but about the size of a lion head, to match the lion’s large body. Their fur is a dark golden brown with egg white plumage for the eagle-half.
I believe the Griffin to be another hybrid creature that was genetically modified, but there is no proof that I’ve been able to find.
Griffin is also my last name. Jerome Griffin.
