The Great Ice Mountain is the second largest mountain on this side of the world, and home to the largest community of Yetis. The Yetis have learned to thrive in their own community on the North side of the mountain, while the people living in the small villages of the Great Ice Mountain live on the South. As long as you stay out of their territory, they generally stay away from people.
Yetis have long, white fur draped around their entire body. It helps them blend into the snow despite their large size. A Yeti can stand over 10 feet tall, and their extreme density makes them look like a giant. They’re quite agile for their size, and have feet that allow them to run through even deep snow.
There are stories of people being lost on the mountain, freezing to death, being saved by Yetis, and dropped off in the village near the base of the mountain, but the Yetis seldom stick around long enough for anyone to see them. It is rumored that they have taken to practices such as gardening, and have a strong enough sense of community to create their own Yeti Village.
I have seen only one human with a Yeti Cryptid Partner, but generally it seems the type of person to be able to connect with a Yeti need to be a rather seclusive person. Unlike Sasquatch, the Yeti seem to have full control over their emotions, possibly due to having less overall emotional pull than the Sasquatch, but their meditative techniques could be the actual factor.
