Jerome’s Journal: Sasquatch — Page 3

Sasquatch —

Finding ‘Poor Grover’s Almanac’, a journal about Cryptid discoveries written by Grover Holland is what motivated me to create my own journal. I collected as many pages throughout my life as I could. I was lucky enough to call that man a friend. Grover’s Cryptid partner was Boonie the Sasquatch.

A Sasquatch, or as some may call them, Big Foot, is one of the most loyal Cryptids I have laid eyes upon. The bond between Grover and Boonie was so strong, it felt as if they could read each other’s minds, something I’m only now able to feel with my Cryptid partner, Bunny.

Sasquatch are large, semi-humanoid looking creatures, standing at about 8 feet tall. They have long brown fur draped down their entire body, and big, meaty hands that when put into a fist, can crush steel.

Sasquatch families can be found in large forest areas, and while most are considered Omnivores, some families are strictly Herbivores, eating nothing but berries and local plants. They Some have learned skills such as beekeeping, where their thick fur protects them from grabbing honey from bee hives.

Their emotions seem to be around 50 times that of humans, and when surprised or feeling threatened, they can react with wild and chaotic anger, making them incredibly dangerous to be around, a lot of times by no fault of their own. When a member of their family dies, they can feel deep sadness, spiraling them into an extreme depression.
