Linda became the youngest commissioner of the Cryptid Coalition due to the after effects of the Battle of the Creators caused by the awakening of Amando. After years and years of being unable to soul bond with a Cryptid Partner of her own, she finally was able to bond with a Griffin after their abusive Human Partner was taken out of the picture.

With her new trusted Griffin partner, she flipped the perception of the misunderstood hybrid bird-feline from threatening and aggressive to proud and majestic.

Before the Summoning in Shangri-La, Linda gave Ashe, Charli, and Dil their Cryptid Hunter’s License on Lancelot’s recommendation, and warned them about the dangers of Pixie Paul’s capitalistic rise in popularity and power in the modern age.

She tries to break down the inner machinations of the Cryptid Coalition, but often finds her hands tied due to the wants and needs of the wealthier Cryptid fanatics, who find her unfit to have the position of power she does.

Linda helped Maurice and Jerome with the expedition to the mysterious island, and was prepared to do whatever it took to get the prestige she rightfully deserved from such a discovery.
